Dr. Kaz is the owner and founder of Anasa Personalized Medicine® and is excited to be practicing naturopathic medicine in her home state of Rhode Island. Dr. Kaz is a licensed Naturopathic Physician, Clinical Nutritionist, Reiki Master and Craniosacral Therapy Level 1 practitioner. She completed her education at the University of Bridgeport where she received a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master's degree in Nutrition. Previous to that, she graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science. 


Dr. Kaz is passionate about supporting the expansion of Naturopathic medicine and serves as the President of the Rhode Island Association of Naturopathic Physicians (RIANP) and is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).


Dr. Kaz is dedicated to improving people’s health. She sees patients with a variety of health concerns including digestive disorders, cardiovascular dysfunction, thyroid disorders, diabetes, Lyme disease, arthritis and many more. She addresses these conditions through herbal medicine, supplements, homeopathy, guided nutrition and lifestyle counseling.

 

Dr. Kaz has been trained in disease reduction programs such as First Line Therapy and trained under Dr. D’Adamo for two years focusing on the blood type diet and nutrigenomics. 

 

Dr. Kaz believes that the body has the ability to heal itself given the right tools and she helps guide patients to stop managing symptoms and start treating the underlying causes of illness. 

 

Dr. Kaz also enjoys teaching the community about living a healthy lifestyle and lectures regularly in Rhode Island, writes articles for the Natural Awakenings magazine and has been voted as the Top Naturopathic Doctor in RI from 2020 to 2024.

 

In her personal time, Dr. Kaz enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring the beauty of Rhode Island and traveling the world!

Noelle Cardarelli, ND, DAc

Dr. Noelle Cardarelli is a licensed naturopathic physician in Rhode Island and is originally from the neighboring state of Massachusetts. She completed her education at the University of Bridgeport where she received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She also graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture. Previous to this, she graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston with a Bachelor’s degree in Science. Dr. Cardarelli has been published in the local magazine, Natural Awakenings, and has lectured at several community events. 

She is passionate about the natural intelligence of the physical and emotional body and the inherent connection between the two. She utilizes a variety of modalities including nutrition, vitamins, and herbs to treat her patients holistically. Her approach is one of disease prevention and restoring balance within the body. She is a firm believer in an integrative approach to wellness and wants her patients to be educated on their own health conditions and available treatment options. She believes that both conventional and alternative approaches have a place in medicine. She is data driven and relies heavily on clinical research, lab testing, and treatment outcomes. 


Dr. Cardarelli has a specific interest in treating patients with hormonal, metabolic, gastrointestinal, and inflammatory conditions. She is also well versed in treating tickborne illnesses. Patients that fit best with Dr. Cardarelli are motivated, curious, and lighthearted. In her free time, Dr. Cardarelli can be found at a local thrift store, music venue, or creating art. Family and community are very important to Dr. Cardarelli, so much of her free time is spent with family and loved ones- especially her wife and dog!


Dr. Brenda Bithoney, ND

Dr. Brenda Bithoney (Dr. B) is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in Rhode Island, originally from Massachusetts. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Bridgeport receiving her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to medical school, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry.


Dr. B believes everyone should take an active role in their health and she encourages patient education. To support patients, Dr. B uses herbal medicine, supplements, homeopathy, escharotic therapy and physical medicine. 


Her areas of interest include uterine and ovarian health (including fertility, endometriosis, irregular menstrual cycles, menopause, perimenopause, PCOS, cervical dysplasia, etc.) and digestive conditions (including IBS, SIBO, etc.). Dr. B currently offers two additional therapies including naturopathic physical medicine and cervical escharotic therapy.

 

Naturopathic physical medicine includes manipulation of joints and tissues, massage, trigger point therapy and stretching to help with many disorders including TMJ dysfunction, headaches, chronic and acute joint and muscle pain. Cervical escharotic therapies are a naturopathic treatment for cervical dysplasia that includes herbal applications to the cervix along with vaginal suppositories.


In her free time, Dr. B enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and learning about plants.


Dr. Darien Lesicko, ND 

Dr. Darien Lesicko (Dr. L) is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in Rhode Island and a Craniosacral Therapy Level 2 practitioner. She completed her education at Bastyr University where she received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology.

Before joining Anasa Personalized Medicine, she worked in integrative primary care in Arizona, where she treated thousands of patients with acute and chronic conditions utilizing both naturopathic and conventional medicine. She is passionate about incorporating naturopathic medicine into our current medical system for a more holistic and well-rounded approach. 

Dr. L enjoys working with people of all ages and conditions, truly believing that naturopathic medicine can benefit anyone and everyone. Her primary focus is the foundation of health and utilizes functional lab testing, homeopathy, nutraceuticals, and botanical medicine to find and treat the root cause of disease.


In her personal time, Dr. L enjoys reading, playing tennis, and exploring her new home
on the East Coast.


Mikaela Dicomitis, MS

Mikaela Dicomitis is a clinical nutritionist and nutrition therapist in her home state of Rhode Island. She graduated from Simmons University receiving her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion with a concentration in eating disorders. Through her graduate program, she completed multiple internship rotations at eating disorder facilities. Prior, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island.


Mikaela has helped provide care for a variety of patients including multiple food allergies, chronic disease management, athletics, individualized diets, disordered eating, and eating disorder patients. She practices through a trauma informed lens believing the body has its own unique wisdom where we can look within to understand the way our body responds to stress and in turn, learn to cultivate more safety and connection in our lives. Mikaela is passionate about helping clients heal their relationship with food and their body through a weight inclusive approach using intuitive eating principles. She firmly believes nutrition is meant to be individualized and there is no one right or wrong way to eat.


In her free time, Mikaela can be found coaching figure skating, caring for her houseplants, reading at the beach, or crocheting. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and pup, Maple!


Jessica Grudain, LMT

Jessica Grudain, LMT is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist. She is committed to helping individuals achieve a state of total well-being through the healing power of touch. She has a passion for enhancing the quality of life for her clients and work towards perfecting her craft and nurturing a deep understanding of the human body. 


She is a graduate of Lincoln Tech where she honed her skills in the art of massage therapy. Her journey into the world of massage therapy began with a desire to make a positive impact on others, mind, body and spirit. She specializes in Therapeutic, Relaxation and Swedish massages with light to medium pressure, tailored to clients specific needs and preferences.  Jessica firmly believes that the power of touch has the potential to rejuvenate and heal, allowing the body to restore its natural balance. Each session offers a harmonious blend of skill, intuition and empathy designed to help clients relax and achieve their wellness goals. 


Jessicas top priorities are comfort and well-being. She takes the time to listen to clients concerns, assess needs and work with clients to develop a treatment plan that best suits each clients goals. She strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients can experience the profound benefits of massage therapy. 


When she is not working she enjoys exploring new recipes in the kitchen and spending quality time with her family. She is a firm believer in practicing self care which is why she is an avid runner and is actively working towards her black belt in Krav Maga. These activities help her stay balanced and focused, which in turn benefits her clients during their massage sessions.
