  • What does the first visit entail?

    The first visit is 75 minutes and entails a detailed intake of your health concerns, health history and health goals. You will be provided with a personalized treatment plan at the end of your appointment that includes recommendations for nutrition, herbal medicine, supplements, lifestyle and functional lab testing. 


  • Do you take insurance?

    Currently, we are out of network. If you have a HSA/FSA card, you can use either towards your visits and supplements. We can also provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

  • What functional lab tests do you offer?

    We offer a variety of functional lab testing including:


    • KBMO Food sensitivity tests
    • DUTCH Hormone test
    • Genova Stool test
    • Genova SIBO test
    • Doctors Data Heavy Metal test
    • Mosaic mycotoxin test 
    • Vitamin and mineral tests
    • In depth cholesterol and thyroid test
    • 3x4 genetic test

  • Does insurance cover lab tests?

    Most insurances cover vitamin, mineral, cholesterol and thyroid testing at an in network lab. This should be confirmed prior to completing testing. Functional lab testing is out of pocket and is covered with HSA/FSA cards.

  • Can you be my primary care provider or my child’s pediatrician?

    In Rhode Island, Naturopathic Doctors are not considered primary care physicians and therefore cannot act as a pediatrician. Our doctors are able to be an adjunct to your primary care provider or pediatrician.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 48 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a $150 cancellation fee for an initial visit and $80 for a follow up visit. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we will ask you to reschedule.   • How does a telemedicine appointment work?

    Telemedicine is over a video call which allows you to consult with your doctor remotely using a phone, tablet, or computer. You will receive an email 1 hour prior to your scheduled appointment time to sign into your video appointment. 

  • How does a phone call work?

    Phone calls are abbreviated visits to discuss quick questions with your doctor. The doctor will give you a phone call at your scheduled time.
